Hastings Commons case study

Hastings Commons is a pioneering approach to community-led regeneration, DIY-style. They own and manage a diverse set of buildings in the White Rock area of Hastings.

In December 2022 we created a new website for Hastings Commons, housing an ecosystem of sub brands and meeting the needs of multiple audiences. We created a strategy for the new website creation, conducted an audit of content across multiple sites, developed a site map and user journey, and organised a smooth technical launch. We worked with a graphic designer to develop a bold concept that aligned with the visual identity, whilst supporting the embedding of a young brand.

“Overall, I found the whole experience really great with Vicky and Sam. We worked well together and had a good rapport. They were always available to answer any emails and the regular meetings we had together were always productive (in fact, some of the most productive meetings I’ve had). They produced work of a high quality and were brilliant at being reflective and discussing when things weren’t working with the design of the website etc as well as being honest about when they might need more time. It was a tough project at times but they delivered on schedule as promised. We are going to continue to work together on another project too.”
